Hally Vogel Early Life
Hally Vogel was born and raised in Ohio near Lake Erie, according to her official WXYZ biography. Growing up close to the Great Lakes exposed her to rapidly changing weather conditions. WXYZ says Vogel developed an interest in weather when she was young. That early interest eventually became an important part of her professional career.
Reliable public sources reveal relatively little about Vogel’s childhood, parents, or siblings. Her official professional biography focuses much more heavily on her education and broadcasting experience. This limited information reflects the private approach that she appears to take toward family matters. Readers should therefore be cautious with websites that publish detailed family claims without identifying reliable sources.
Hally Vogel Education
Vogel built an educational background that combines broadcasting and weather science. She completed her undergraduate studies at Kent State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV Production with a minor in Broadcasting. She later completed the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Geosciences. These studies helped prepare her for both scientific forecasting and television presentation.
Her education also helped her develop the skills needed to explain complicated weather information to television audiences. Vogel received the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval, according to WXYZ. Her combination of communication training and meteorological education has played an important role throughout her career. It also allowed her to work across several television markets before establishing herself in Detroit.
Hally Vogel Family
Vogel does not provide extensive information about her family in her official WXYZ biography. The station simply notes that she enjoys spending time outdoors and spending as much time as possible with family. Several secondary biography websites report that she has a daughter, but such personal information receives much less authoritative documentation than her career history. This makes careful sourcing especially important when discussing her family.
The question is hally vogel still married has become common partly because reliable public information about her relationship is limited. Some online biographies describe her as married and report that she has a daughter born in September 2008. However, websites disagree about important details, including the identity of her spouse. Her official WXYZ profile does not currently identify a husband or provide a detailed marital history.
Hally Vogel Age
Hally Vogel’s exact age is another detail that is inconsistently reported online. Some secondary websites list November 8 as her birthday, while published years of birth vary between sources. Her official WXYZ biography does not provide her date or year of birth. For that reason, a precise current age cannot be confidently established from the strongest available source.
It is better to separate confirmed professional facts from estimates published on celebrity biography websites. Vogel began her television career before joining WZZM and later moved to WXYZ in 2011. WXYZ stated when hiring her that she already had more than a decade of weather experience. Her career timeline is therefore much better documented than her exact birth date.
Hally Vogel Net Worth
Hally Vogel’s exact net worth has not been publicly confirmed by WXYZ or another authoritative financial source. Several biography websites provide estimates, but those figures differ significantly. Some sources place her wealth around $1 million or more, while others provide much wider ranges. Such estimates should not be treated as verified information about her finances.
Her main publicly documented profession is television meteorology, and she has worked in broadcasting for many years. Her career has included positions in Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, and Detroit. It is reasonable to identify broadcasting as her established professional career, but calculating her personal wealth requires private financial information that is not publicly available. Any precise net-worth number should therefore be described only as an estimate.
Is Hally Vogel Still Married?
So, is hally vogel still married according to currently available information? Several recent secondary biography websites describe Vogel as married, and some also report that she and her husband have a daughter. However, these sources do not agree on all details, and Vogel’s official WXYZ biography does not state her current marital status. That means a definitive answer cannot be established from authoritative public information alone.
Readers searching is hally vogel still married may encounter different names for her reported husband across biography websites. One site identifies Randy Vieu Sr., while another simply says that Vogel has chosen not to disclose her husband’s name. Another online biography makes a conflicting claim that she is widowed, demonstrating why these secondary sources require caution. The safest conclusion is that online sources report conflicting personal information, while her current marital status is not clearly confirmed by her official professional biography.
Hally Vogel Relationship and Husband
Interest in Vogel’s husband increased after reports circulated about a personal message she shared concerning her husband’s cancer treatment. A secondary source reproduces a 2020 message attributed to Vogel in which she described her husband completing an early stage of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. The message reportedly mentioned treatment at the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center. This supports evidence that she publicly referred to a husband at that time.
However, a 2020 reference does not automatically establish her relationship status in 2026. This distinction matters when answering is hally vogel still married accurately. Recent biography sites continue to describe her as married, but they provide conflicting details about her spouse. Without a recent statement from Vogel or an authoritative source, readers should avoid treating one secondary biography’s version as confirmed fact.
Hally Vogel Current Affairs
Professionally, Vogel remains connected with WXYZ-TV in Detroit. The station’s current staff directory lists Hally Vogel among its meteorologists, alongside Dave Rexroth, Mike Taylor, and Marisa Woloszyn. Her individual WXYZ profile also remains active and identifies her as a meteorologist. These sources provide strong evidence about her current professional role.
Her recent work also shows that she remains involved in weather reporting. A professional journalist directory lists WXYZ weather stories by Vogel from 2026 as well as earlier reports. Her public presence continues to focus heavily on forecasts, severe weather, and conditions affecting Metro Detroit. In contrast, she has kept most details concerning her personal relationships outside her official station biography.
Hally Vogel Career
Vogel started her television career in Cleveland before working as a morning meteorologist and co-anchor for WPBN-WTOM in Traverse City. She later spent seven years with WZZM 13 in Grand Rapids, where she presented weekday morning and noon forecasts. In 2011, she accepted a position with WXYZ-TV in Detroit. These positions gave her extensive experience covering the unpredictable weather found throughout the Great Lakes region.
WXYZ announced her appointment on June 6, 2011, and said she would begin working for the station on June 11. The station highlighted her previous weather experience and familiarity with Michigan forecasting conditions. She has remained associated with Channel 7 for many years since that appointment. Her lengthy broadcasting record remains one of the best-documented areas of her public biography.

Hally Vogel Height, Weight, and Physical Appearance
Online searches also produce questions about Vogel’s height and other physical details. However, WXYZ’s official biography does not provide her height, weight, body measurements, eye color, or similar information. Secondary websites publish different measurements, making it difficult to identify a reliable figure. The following table separates commonly reported information from what can actually be confirmed.
| Physical Detail | Information |
| Height | Around 5’4″–5’6″ according to secondary websites; not officially confirmed |
| Weight | Not reliably confirmed |
| Hair Color | Brown/dark brown in published images |
| Eye Color | Not reliably confirmed |
| Body Measurements | Not officially available |
| Nationality | American |
| Profession | Meteorologist and television broadcaster |
Readers should avoid assuming that exact measurements on celebrity biography websites come directly from Vogel. Some sites publish figures without explaining where those numbers originated. This is particularly important because physical statistics can change over time and may never have been publicly disclosed. Professional information from WXYZ provides a much stronger basis for understanding Vogel than unsupported measurements.
